Are you passionate about student success and interested in making a positive impact on future nurses? Most nursing schools incorporate tools for building nurse-patient relationships into their curricula. Chamberlain College of Nursing has gone a step further and made care of students a part of our educational culture, with the belief that extraordinary care of nursing students is more likely to lead to extraordinary patient and family care.
This concept, Chamberlain Care™, is demonstrated through the support faculty and staff provide students from the beginning of their academic career all the way through graduation, preparing each student with a strong foundation for academic success. Support services include early introduction to comprehensive academic resources and unique, hands-on experiences that engage students and empower them to achieve their career goals.
Collaborating with the Assistant Dean, Academic Success, the Academic Success Coach and faculty and staff, the Professional Nursing Tutor is instrumental in helping students be successful in their nursing program and in helping to increase the students’ potential for passing the NCLEX-RN. Working directly with the students, the Professional Nursing Tutor identifies student strengths, learning styles, and areas requiring further development to develop remediation plans for the students.
