The Senior Manager, CRM & Marketing Automation is responsible for identifying opportunities throughout the student lifecycle to engage prospective and current students and improve acquisition and retention efforts.  Residing within the Marketing Center of Excellence, this individual manages a team who develops and delivers CRM solutions using marketing automation tools such as Eloqua, Pardot, and Salesforce to meet business objectives. 


  • Plan and execute innovative business solutions to position our institutions as leaders in the edu space for leveraging automation technology to improve student acquisition and engagement.
  • Oversee all aspects of our marketing automation campaigns, including planning and programming, creative development, data syncs and segmentation, and reporting & analysis.
  • Develop scalable automation campaigns that can be easily adapted to address the growing needs of the institutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and develop business requirements for new initiatives, leading to successful project outcomes.
  • Define marketing analytics and reports, analyze performance data and drive optimizations for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Manage a team that develops and delivers CRM solutions to meet business objectives
  • Work with IT and business leaders to map and prioritize integrations and enhancements to the marketing technology roadmap.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, IT, communications or related field required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, branding or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in a CRM/marketing technology/marketing automation role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation (Eloqua preferred) systems.
  • Must have desire to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience leading teams to deliver successful results.
  • Ability to prioritize work and analyze interdependencies.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Strong active listening skills and the ability to translate needs, concerns and solutions across functional and stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated creativity balanced with practicality to meet business objectives and team needs.
