  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The primary purpose of this role is to establish clinical relationships and drive partnership strategy for new and existing BSN, Chamberlain campuses.


    • Develop relationships with health organizations jfor potential and established markets.
    • Develop and manage a national account strategy. 
    • Use direct mail, telephone, email and face-to-face meetings to determine clinical site capacity for Chamberlain University students and potential for partnership.
    • Initiate clinical affiliation agreements and other types of written support for applications for approval of program and new campuses. 
    • Work with the partner and Chamberlain University contact to see the agreements through to completion.
    • Identifies potential strategic opportunities based on market intelligence.
    • Uses data to partner with academic and operational leadership to execute strategic partnership goals.
    • Mentor and train new Clinical Development Specialists by creating a training plan and materials.
    • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on clinical relationship initiatives.
    • Identify best practices, create client facing information, and establish on-going working relationships.
    • Addresses escalated partner relationship concerns.
    • Supports assigned pre-licensure campus partnerships by providing partner development training and collaborating with campus leadership to support and develop clinical partners.
    • Acts as relationship manager for key top tier clinical/practicum partners.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelors required, Masters preferred
    • 5-10 Years healthcare sales experience.
    • Healthcare sales experience required.  Nursing preferred.
    • 1 – 2 years salesforce.com experience required
    • Business Development experience preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills – must be able to work with various levels of managemenet.
    • Team player willing to share and exchange ideas
    • Action oriented – work autonomously with little direction.
