    In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of national policies and processes for SIMCARE Center campus and online operations including all nursing labs.

    Responsibilities

    • Implements the College’s mission, philosophy, and curricula through oversight for all SIMCARE Center equipment, supplies, and staffing guidelines.
    • Collaborates with national academic and operational leadership as well as campus and online leadership to assess needs; recommend policies and procedures regarding faculty and staffing utilization, and performance indicators to facilitate adequate resources are available for excellent experiential learning for students.
    • Assists in hiring and orienting lab and SIMCARE managers
    • Establishes, maintains, and communicates national clinical learning lab operating policies, procedures, and best practices throughout Chamberlain University.
    • Provides on-going assessment and direction to SIMCARE Center team members for standard operating procedures and systems used to support excellence in clinical learning for Chamberlain University students.
    • Oversees national purchasing, planning and scheduling systems for use in the clinical learning labs, as well as other technological clinical resources, (i.e. EHR and bar coding, virtual reality, etc.).
    • Responsible for standardizing vendor and equipment/supply recommendations; management of simulation and lab-related purchases and budget accountability.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum 1-year previous simulation experience required
    • 5+ years working in a clinical healthcare environment preferred
    • Working knowledge of MS Office required.  Experience with audio/visual technology helpful.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience in adult education and/or training preferred. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and determine effective business and alternative solutions.
    • Understanding of the regulatory environment of higher education and nursing
    • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast-paced environment with many initiatives.
    • Demonstrated competence in use of technology for virtual meetings, project management and training.
    • Ability to work effectively and productively in a remote location
    • Ability to produce high quality outcomes related to multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • Ability to function as a productive team member and to consistently model the TEACH values
