  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The Sibling Clubhouse Student Worker assists the Sibling Liaisons in meeting the needs of siblings in the Sibling Clubhouse. Will provide support and play opportunities for the siblings, paying close attention to their developmental needs. Will maintain Sibling Clubhouse resources, keeping the Sibling Clubhouse safe and clean. Works under the primary supervision of FVS Sibling Liaisons and the Sibling Clubhouse Lead.


    • Greet parents and siblings and assist with transition of sibling(s) to Clubhouse.
    • Review guidelines with parents and assist in sign-in and sign-out procedures.
    • Assign identification numbers and pagers to siblings and parents.
    • Assist in one-on-one and group activities for siblings.
    • Model appropriate communication and behaviors within the Clubhouse.
    • Report any unusual incidents/ injuries that occur within the Clubhouse.
    • Disinfect toys using hospital “toy wash” policy.
    • Maintain safety and cleanliness of Clubhouse.
    • Assist in orienting first time siblings to the Clubhouse setting.
    • Assist in orienting new volunteers to the Clubhouse setting, allowing for shadowing on first day.


    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours a semester
    • Federal Work Study fund eligible
    • Computer skills and customer service attitude is critical
    • Experience working with children in a variety of settings and a genuine desire to work with children
    • 2 letters of recommendation
