Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelors of Science in Nursing program studying at our Atlanta campus who live or work in the Dalton, GA area.
We build long-term relationships with superior nurse educators who are experts in their field and committed to providing the finest in practitioner-focused education.
We are presently interviewing candidates qualified to teach in the following specialties, beginning in late October 2018, at Dalton clinical partner sites that include Quinton Memorial Health & Rehabilitation, Hamilton Medical Center, and Regency Park Health and Rehabilitation in the following specialty areas:
Collaborative Health (Leadership): This course is designed to expand the scope of the nursing practice for senior nursing students. Course and clinical activities provided to traditional students focus on leadership and management aspects of the professional nurse.
Capstone: This synthesis course requires seniors to demonstrate mastery of knowledge learned in general education as well as nursing courses. The course facilitates the student’s transition into professional nursing through an exploration of trends and issues in professional nursing and participation in experiential-based nursing experiences. This culminating clinical practicum focuses on refining skills in the delivery and management of nursing care within the context of legal, ethical and evidence-based practice. A comprehensive nursing program review is embedded in this course to support mastery of essential nursing content for beginning practice as a registered nurse.
Classes meet for 8-week sessions; visit our Academic Calendar here for more information about our schedules.
Additional teaching opportunities may be available in the areas of Complex Adult Health (Critical Care), Mental Health, Pediatrics, Medical Surgical Nursing & Community Health.
