    Chamberlain College of Nursing is pleased to announce an outstanding career opportunity at our campus in Arlington, VA as a Career Services Advisor.  The Career Services Advisor assists students and graduates with developing professional skills and obtaining employment.

    Responsibilities

    • Advise students on career development, job search skills and industry trends in preparation for employment upon graduation.
    • Conducts outreach to recent graduates to identify career search needs, provide coaching and connections to employment opportunities.
    • Assists with analyzing information and preparing reports as needed for campus operation reviews or other college departments.
    • Work in conjunction with the Office of Clinical Resources and the Healthcare Development Specialists to maintain relationships with organizations in the healthcare field, in an effort to increase the number of job leads and development opportunities for students and alumni.
    • Participate in and promote market career fairs and other college activities on a local and regional basis.
    • Assists with survey efforts to capture recent graduate data.
    • Assists the Senior Career Advisor or Student Services Manager with student development activities
    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s preferred
    • 2+ years in Career Services, Higher Education, Staffing, Recruiting or Employer Relations preferred
    • One year experience in the Healthcare Industry
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong PC skills
