    Chamberlain College of Nursing is actively seeking an Administrative Coordinator, Student Services, for our Tinley Park campus. In this important role, you will support the administration of the Student Services deparment and assist with other projects in support of other administrative assistants and multiple departments.


    It takes a strong set of organizational and communication skills to be effective in this highly visible service role, so we want to meet with people who have passion for education, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and solid commitment to consistently providing exceptional service.


    In this role you will:

    • Provide Front Desk Reception for the Student Services Suite. Greet students, staff and visitors in a professional manner; answer questions and adhere to requests, and follow the TEACH values at all time, including time on the telephone. 
    • Handle all Student Services staff and front office matters, including resolving issues from students and staff. 
    • Show outstanding customer service to all callers and visitors, using discretion when handling difficult calls and promptly route to appropriate department/employees. 
    • Assist the Student Services team in scheduling and coordinate all activities pertaining to the student life. 
    • Prepare and generate activity reports to support and guide management. 
    • Research, develop and follow existing processes and/or create and implement new resources that improve timely and efficient workflow. 
    • Maintain calendar and personal database, schedule meetings and events and assist with travel arrangements. 
    • Monitor, order and stock supplies and maintain an adequate inventory. 
    • Perform other administrative and clerical duties and projects as assigned by supervisor. 
    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    • High School Diploma or GED. 
    • Minimum two years of experience in customer service or closely related clerical support role. 
    • PC skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and internet applications. 
    • Strong organizational, customer service and data entry skills.
    • Typing skills of at least 40 wpm
